Refund policy for cruise ship passengers: If your cruise ship does not dock in Manzanillo, a full refund will be sent to you through Pay Pal. If the ship docks, but on a different day, we will honor the tour for that day. If the ship docks late, we will adjust the tour accordingly, and have you back in time to depart. If you are a no show for any reason, no refund. If you are more than 15 minutes late for the designated meeting time, the tour will leave without you, and no refund.
Disembark as soon as you are allowed to do so, or as close to 8:30 a.m. Manzanillo time as possible. As you disembark the ship, walk down the dock to the gate. There will be numerous tour guides holding up signs by the gate, including the guide for the trip you have signed up for. Our signage with have the name of the tour, and your name below. There may be more than one tour listed on the sign.
Depending on the cruise ship you are on, Manzanillo time can be one hour later than ship time, and two hours later than California (Pacific) time. In other words, if it is 8:30 Manzanillo time, it is 6:30 CA time. Last season, it was our experience that your ship’s purser did not always announce that it is okay to disembark, causing many people to miss their tours. It is your responsibility to know what time it is. Some cruise ship passengers have left more than an hour late, causing those that were on time to be irritated and frustrated. For all our surf lesson clients, please disembark at 10 a.m. Manzanillo time whether an announcement has been made or not, provided you are able to do so. To check Manzanillo time, go to www.gomanzanillo.com and look for the green banner near the top.
